I have been working as an SAP professional for several years, and I am now seriously considering moving abroad permanently with my family. We are a family of four: my wife, two children, and me. At this stage of my career, I am not only looking for a higher salary. My main goal is to find a country where we can build a stable long-term life. For me, the important factors are: Good demand and career opportunities for SAP professionals A realistic route to permanent residency or long-term settlement Good schools and opportunities for children Safety and family-friendly living Healthcare Reasonable work-life balance Possibility for my wife to work in the future A clear pathway toward citizenship, if we decide to stay permanently I have been looking mainly at Germany, Australia, and Canada. Germany seems particularly interesting because of its strong SAP and enterprise technology market. The EU Blue Card and skilled-worker routes also look attractive for experienced IT professionals. However, I am wondering how difficult family life would be initially without speaking German. Australia also looks like a very good option for raising children, with strong salaries and skilled migration pathways. My concern is how competitive the points-based immigration system has become. Canada was originally high on my list because of its permanent residence system and multicultural environment, but I am not sure how strong the current opportunities are specifically for SAP professionals compared with Germany or Australia. If you were an experienced SAP professional moving with a wife and two children, which country would you choose for the next 10 to 20 years?
