Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare comprehensive financial statements.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and manage payroll effectively.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
  • Ensure strict compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably within the logistics, shipping, or marine industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced international environment.
