Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, for vacation rental properties.
- Prepare and analyze accurate financial statements, such as profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure meticulous maintenance of all financial records.
- Support budgeting, financial forecasting, and sophisticated financial modeling for clients in the vacation rental sector.
- Ensure full compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations applicable to the industry.
- Collaborate effectively with the wider financial team to deliver exceptional, comprehensive client support.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience as an Accountant, with a specific focus on the vacation rental or broader hospitality industry.
- Profound understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and robust financial reporting practices.
- High proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
