Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, for vacation rental properties.
• Prepare and analyze accurate financial statements, such as profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure meticulous maintenance of all financial records.
• Support budgeting, financial forecasting, and sophisticated financial modeling for clients in the vacation rental sector.
• Ensure full compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations applicable to the industry.
• Collaborate effectively with the wider financial team to deliver exceptional, comprehensive client support.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as an Accountant, with a specific focus on the vacation rental or broader hospitality industry.
• Profound understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and robust financial reporting practices.
• High proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Exceptional analytical capabilities and a strong commitment to accuracy and detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field is preferred.
