    Corteva Agriscience, a global leader in seeds, crop protection, and digital agriculture, is looking for an Agronomist to join its team in Szarvas, Hungary. This role offers the opportunity to oversee seed production, develop innovative crop strategies, and support growers with advanced agricultural technologies.     Job Responsibilities

    • Oversee acreage planning, strategy, and resource allocation for seed production.
    • Develop environmentally sustainable methods to enhance crop yields.
    • Create detailed growing plans at hybrid and field levels.
    • Train growers and staff on crop management practices and technologies.
    • Manage the full production process from planting through harvest.
    • Participate in field trials and research projects to improve production methods.
    • Use digital agronomy tools (EDGE, drones, mapping, ProMap) to monitor and report results.
    • Manage grower relations including contracts, acreage allocations, and conflict resolution.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
    • Evaluate the local competitive seed market and contribute insights.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agribusiness, or related field.
    • At least 2 years’ experience in agronomy, field science, or agribusiness.
    • Strong seed and crop production knowledge.
    • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
    • Passion for agronomy and row crop management.
    • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office; experience with digital agronomy tools is a plus).
    • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
