Job Overview
Parkland Corporation, a leading global energy and convenience retail company, is seeking an Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join its Barbados office. Reporting to the Group Manager, FP&A, this role supports strategic decision-making by providing financial insights, forecasts, and analytical reports. The position involves close collaboration with senior analysts, finance teams, and operations to deliver accurate, high-impact business intelligence for management and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support FP&A objectives by partnering with management to deliver actionable insights through financial analysis and reporting.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to monitor performance and identify improvement areas.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze financial models, KPIs, and management dashboards.
- Prepare presentations and performance reports for senior management and the Board.
- Lead or contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives within finance.
- Collaborate with finance and operational teams across Parkland’s international operations to drive business efficiency and growth.
- Support strategic planning projects, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal standards.
- Promote Parkland’s culture of BOLD leadership, innovation, and collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Commerce.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A functions.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP systems and databases.
- Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence and partner with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English; Spanish language skills are an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
