Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Engineering Manager in overseeing daily operations and maintenance of hotel facilities.
- Coordinate and supervise a team of engineering staff, ensuring high standards of work.
- Implement preventative maintenance programs for all hotel systems and equipment.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, ensuring minimal disruption to guests and operations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, brand standards, and local codes.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment, and assist with budget management for the department.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an engineering role, preferably in a hotel or similar large facility.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Solid understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and building codes.
