You will lead risk‑based audits across the people lifecycle—workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, payroll and benefits, time and attendance, performance and rewards, learning, employee relations, incentive calculations, and offboarding. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver HR audits end‑to‑end: scope, risk/control matrix, walkthroughs, sample design, testing, issue drafting, and close‑out.
- Review recruitment and onboarding: requisition approvals, offers, background checks, visas/immigration and PRO workflows, document collection, and HRIS data accuracy.
- Test payroll and benefits controls: master‑data changes, segregation of duties, attendance/overtime inputs, commission/bonus calculations, statutory deductions, reconciliations, and approval workflows.
- Assess time and attendance: scheduling, leave management, exceptions, and system integrations with payroll.
- Evaluate performance management and rewards: goal setting, calibration, promotions, salary changes, and incentive governance.
- Audit employee relations processes: grievances, investigations, disciplinary actions, terminations, and settlement calculations; check evidence, approvals, and timeliness.
Requirements
- 5 to 6 years in internal audit or HR controls/operations with demonstrable HR audit exposure; experience in insurance, fintech, or high‑growth services is a plus.
- Solid understanding of end‑to‑end HR processes (hire‑to‑retire), payroll and benefits, HRIS administration, and data/privacy risks.
- Strong analytical skills; advanced Excel/Google Sheets and a BI tool (Power BI/Tableau/Looker); SQL is a plus.
- Clear, concise reporting and stakeholder engagement; able to translate control gaps into prioritized, practical actions.
- Qualifications: CA / CIA or in progress preferred; HR credentials (e.g., SHRM‑CP/SHRM‑SCP, PHRi, CIPD) are advantageous.
