    Key Responsibilities

    • Facilitate and support the development and capacity building of Red Cross/Red Crescent branches in Mali.
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance to local teams on humanitarian program implementation and strategy.
    • Monitor and evaluate branch activities, ensuring adherence to ICRC and humanitarian standards.
    • Collaborate closely with ICRC delegates and national societies to foster strong partnerships.
    • Support the implementation of community-based resilience and disaster preparedness initiatives.
    • Contribute to reporting and documentation efforts related to branch development progress.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in humanitarian operations, branch development, or community engagement, typically 5+ years.
    • Strong understanding of the Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement, its principles, and operational modalities.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural team.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and under pressure in complex environments.
    • Experience in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting within humanitarian contexts.
    • Fluency in English; knowledge of French or local languages is a significant advantage.
