Key Responsibilities
- Participate in various evaluation assignments related to humanitarian response and disaster management.
- Conduct research, data collection, and analysis to support comprehensive evaluation processes.
- Develop high-quality evaluation reports, briefs, and presentations for diverse audiences.
- Provide expert advice and technical support on evaluation methodologies and best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure robust and credible evaluations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of ReliefWeb’s evaluation framework and tools.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant field such as International Affairs, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in evaluation, research, or a related field, preferably within the humanitarian sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in various evaluation methodologies, including both quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Exceptional report writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team, often under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or French is considered a strong asset.
