Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, ensuring correct change and transaction records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service and assistance.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts at the end of each shift.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cashier or in a similar customer service role (5+ years preferred).
- Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in handling financial transactions accurately.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing excellent service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
