Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and interpret the financial statements and reports of the hotel.
- Audit accounts, records, and transactions, streamlining internal control procedures.
- Implement controls to safeguard hotel assets and maintain records for fixed assets and inventories.
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, maintaining budget control procedures.
- Understand and ensure adherence to Al Khoory Hotels’ tax obligations (Dubai Municipality, Dubai Tourism).
- Manage the staffing of the accounting department, coordinating with Group HR for approvals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting and financial management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting policies and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret financial results and provide recommendations.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Familiarity with local government regulations and tax obligations in Dubai.
