Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all electrical systems and equipment on the DP vessel.
- Ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of power generation and distribution.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical components.
- Supervise and train junior electricians and technical staff on board.
- Maintain compliance with international maritime regulations and company standards.
- Implement safety procedures and emergency response protocols related to electrical systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in a Chief or Senior role on DP vessels.
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems, power generation, and control systems.
- Relevant electrical certifications and licenses required for maritime operations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team in offshore environments.
