Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage FinOps best practices to optimize cloud costs across multiple platforms.
- Analyze cloud spending patterns and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain cloud financial reports, dashboards, and forecasting models.
- Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to ensure cost accountability and budget adherence.
- Provide recommendations for resource utilization, pricing models, and architectural improvements.
- Educate teams on FinOps principles and drive a culture of cost-awareness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cloud cost management and FinOps principles.
- Strong understanding of major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency with FinOps tools and cloud billing analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
