Talents Tide is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator / Contracts Engineer to join one of its clients, a reputable main contractor delivering major construction projects. This role is focused on subcontract drafting, negotiation, and administration, ensuring full alignment with the Main Contract (including FIDIC Red Book 2017) and supporting the project team on contractual and commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and finalise subcontract agreements in line with the Main Contract and project-specific requirements.
- Incorporate flow-down provisions, including scope, specifications, insurances, warranties, and dispute resolution clauses.
- Monitor subcontractor performance against contractual obligations related to progress, quality, and compliance.
- Prepare and issue contractual notices, including those under Sub-Clause 20.2.
- Assist the commercial team in reviewing subcontractor payment applications and entitlement.
- Support contractual aspects of variation orders and change management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 7–10 years’ experience in contract administration within the construction industry, preferably with a main contractor.
- Strong working knowledge of FIDIC Red Book 1987, 1999, and 2017.
- Experience with subcontract drafting and administration.
- Proficient in MS Office and contract management tools.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
