    Job Overview

    The Food Procurement Coordinator supports Food Banks Canada’s initiatives to supply the food bank network with a reliable supply of nutritious food. The Food Procurement Coordinator will assist with the execution of national food programs and donor stewardship, drafts and executes communication, supports program launches and incoming inquiries from the network, and ensures clean and consistent data is available for the food procurement programs across the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with Procurement Team to assist with the execution and evaluation of Food Banks Canada programs.
    • Support with the collection, coordination, and management of program data.
    • Maintain program record keeping including the creation and approval of purchase orders, invoice reconciliation, tracking and payment.

    Requirements

    • Completion of a post-secondary college diploma program or equivalent.
    • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience.
    • Project coordination and issue management skills.
