Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain critical data center infrastructure systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, UPS, generators).
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs on critical equipment.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, troubleshoot issues, and restore services efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, operational procedures, and Microsoft’s high standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, incidents, and equipment status.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintaining critical facility infrastructure, preferably in a data center environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a shift-based team, including nights and weekends.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety practices and continuous learning.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and system monitoring.
