This role is responsible for handling customer complaints, service failures, and package delivery issues while ensuring timely resolutions and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
- Handle customer complaints regarding delivery issues such as missing or damaged items.
- Process customer inquiries via phone, email, fax, and written correspondence.
- Manage escalated calls directed to UPS senior management and provide timely resolutions.
- Build customer complaint profiles using UPS databases and assign responsibility to relevant departments.
- Collaborate with corporate teams including Public Relations, Legal, and Security on complex cases.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing issues and resolutions for senior management.
- Diffuse and stabilize calls from VIPs and frustrated customers with diplomacy and professionalism.
- Process legal correspondence and ensure compliance with deadlines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or complaint resolution preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
- Skilled in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using customer databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
