Key Responsibilities
- Conduct data privacy impact assessments (DPIAs) for new projects and initiatives.
- Maintain and update records of processing activities (RoPA) to ensure compliance with GDPR and other regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to business units on data protection best practices.
- Monitor and respond to data subject requests, such as access, rectification, and deletion.
- Assist in the development and delivery of data privacy training programs.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in data privacy laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in law, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data privacy or compliance.
- Strong understanding of global data privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and PIPEDA.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
