Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures.
- Monitor compliance with data protection laws, including GDPR and LGPD.
- Conduct data protection impact assessments (DPIAs).
- Provide guidance and training to staff on data protection matters.
- Serve as the point of contact for data protection authorities and data subjects.
- Investigate and respond to data breaches and security incidents.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations (GDPR, LGPD, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP, CISM) are a plus.
- Experience in data protection and privacy is preferred but not required.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
