Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and pipelines for financial services.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to derive actionable insights for product development and optimization.
  • Build and deploy robust machine learning models to solve complex business and financial challenges.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams to integrate data solutions.
  • Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction and roadmap of data science initiatives at Stripe.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related quantitative role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and strong SQL skills.
  • Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and experimental design.
  • Experience with large-scale data processing tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
  • Proven ability to translate business problems into data science solutions and drive measurable impact.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
