Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain efficient engineering team structures to meet organizational objectives.
- Recruit, onboard, and train engineering staff, fostering professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of engineering efforts with business goals.
- Drive process improvements, best practices, and high standards across development, quality assurance, and operations.
- Provide technical guidance on software architecture, technology stack, and prioritization of technical debt.
- Mentor engineering managers and key contributors, conducting performance reviews and implementing career growth plans.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in a product company with cross-departmental collaboration.
- 3+ years as Director of Engineering, Senior Engineering Manager, or Head of Engineering.
- 3+ years as a Senior Software Engineer with full-stack development experience.
- 2+ years managing managers and leading high-performing teams.
- Experience with Agile, DevOps, and software development lifecycle (SWDL).
- Proven ability to build scalable, secure, and highly available backend systems.
