Job Overview
RMSI, a global leader in geospatial and engineering solutions, is hiring a Document Scanning Associate for its North York office. This role involves preparing, scanning, and managing documents to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
You will support the Records Lead with administrative tasks, troubleshooting, and process improvement while contributing to a high-performing team in a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and sort hardcopy records for scanning.
- Scan documents of various sizes into electronic images while ensuring image quality.
- Enter numerical and alphanumeric data into software systems.
- Maintain and track daily reports on scanning activities.
- Perform quality control checks on scanned records.
- Troubleshoot scanner and computer issues; assist with scanner maintenance.
- Process scan-on-demand requests as required.
- Document processes and ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
- Travel occasionally to depots for records management tasks.
- Assist the Records Lead with administrative and records-related responsibilities.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and communication).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to sort, file, and organize records with attention to detail.
- Strong accuracy and quality orientation.
- Ability to maintain proper record order and sequence.
- Quick learning and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with a results-driven mindset.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with PCs and computer-related equipment.
