Key Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, preparation, and successful submission of competitive European Commission (EC) research and innovation proposals.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to define compelling project concepts and develop strong scientific and technical content.
• Ensure all proposals strictly adhere to EC guidelines, administrative requirements, and critical submission deadlines.
• Develop and implement strategies for research exploitation and innovation ecosystem development within EC-funded projects.
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship on funding opportunities, proposal writing best practices, and effective project management.
• Monitor and analyze the evolving EC funding landscape to proactively identify new opportunities and emerging trends.

Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) in preparing, coordinating, and securing funding for EC research and innovation projects (e.g., Horizon Europe).
• Strong understanding of EC funding programs, policies, and the entire proposal evaluation process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a track record of successful proposal writing and presentation.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international, and multidisciplinary research environment.
• Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to project management.
• Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant STEM field or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
