Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate and comprehensive electrical cost estimations for various projects.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and other tender documents to determine the scope of work.
- Prepare detailed bills of quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering and project teams to refine estimates and ensure alignment.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities related to cost estimation for project profitability.
- Ensure all estimations comply with industry standards, client requirements, and local regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in electrical estimation.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, installation methods, and relevant codes.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documents.
