Job Overview

TRS Staffing Solutions is hiring a Project Manager – Electrical in the UAE to lead end-to-end delivery of marine offshore and oil & gas projects. You’ll define scope with clients, run surveys, develop budgets and resource plans, manage schedules and subcontractors, and ensure designs, materials, and installations meet ATEX/IEC and class rules—all while driving safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Define scope with client reps; conduct site surveys; build budgets/resource plans; lead kick-offs; prepare RFQs, evaluate bids, and coordinate subcontractors; track progress vs. schedule/budget; compile close-out documentation and lessons learned.
  • Electrical Engineering: Set design philosophies; perform detailed design/sizing and ATEX/IEC Ex compliance checks; review SLDs and BOMs; support procurement and expediting; lead technical discussions and resolve queries.
  • Client Engagement: Participate in client/contractor meetings; maintain responsive communications; surface BD opportunities and continuous improvement ideas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical Engineering.
  • 6+ years experience in Marine Offshore, Oil & Gas, or MRO/refurbishment projects.
  • Familiar with ATEX, IEC standards, and Classification Society rules (ABS/DNV).
  • PMP/PRINCE2 preferred; strong leadership, MS Office/MS Project; AutoCAD confidence is a plus.
  • Awareness of quality, environmental, and HSE standards; decisive, collaborative style.
