Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, fault finding, and monitoring of Mobile Harbour Cranes, Terminal Tractors, Forklifts, and other Port Equipment.
- Follow standard engineering practices to ensure maximum operational availability of Mobile Equipment through diagnostic work and repair methods.
- Carry out duties independently when called out and report breakdowns and faults to supervision.
- Ensure that emergency work is followed up by reporting to supervision.
- Write details of the job carried out in provided work orders, including man hours.
- Ensure work is undertaken safely and conforms to safety regulations and procedures defined by Ports.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical, preferably a bachelor’s degree holder.
- Holder of a valid UAE driving license.
- Ability to write clearly and concisely and communicate effectively in English.
- Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity in a maintenance workshop.
