Key Responsibilities

• Create a climate for learning that is conducive for outstanding practice.
• Set tasks that challenge students and ensure high levels of interest.
• Identify SEN or very able students and ensure that their needs are met through differentiation.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s ‘Behaviour for Learning Policy’.
• Assess how well learning objectives have been achieved and use them to improve specific aspects of teaching.
• Prepare and present informative reports to parents.

Requirements

• Fully qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related subject with PGCE.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in the related field.
• Experience of the American curriculum.
• Respect for all members of your school community.
