Key Responsibilities
- Create a climate for learning that is conducive for outstanding practice.
- Set tasks that challenge students and ensure high levels of interest.
- Identify SEN or very able students and ensure that their needs are met through differentiation.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s ‘Behaviour for Learning Policy’.
- Assess how well learning objectives have been achieved and use them to improve specific aspects of teaching.
- Prepare and present informative reports to parents.
Requirements
- Fully qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related subject with PGCE.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in the related field.
- Experience of the American curriculum.
