Job Overview
The City of Belleville is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Engineering Technologist to join our Engineering and Development Services Department. This permanent full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to capital construction projects, new subdivisions, and site plans.

- Qualifications: Three (3) year advanced diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent with C.E.T. Certification.
- Experience: Two (2) years’ experience with inspection of roads water and wastewater projects in a Municipal environment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely, accurate information to the Senior Project Manager, and respond appropriately to their direction.
- Provide inspection for capital construction projects by assuring compliance with City specifications, including the maintaining of comprehensive daily records and material testing and/or sampling.
- Provide contract administration support for capital construction projects and supervise to completion and acceptance.
Requirements
- Three (3) year advanced diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent with C.E.T. Certification.
- Member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technologists and Technicians (OACETT).
- Class “G” Ontario Drivers’ Licence; clean driver’s abstract held and maintained, use of vehicle for work related travel.
