Job Overview
DHL Global Forwarding, the world’s leading freight forwarding company, is hiring an Executive, Order Management Solutions (OMS) in Chattogram. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about international supply chains, data accuracy, and purchase order management. The position involves ensuring the integrity of documentation and data, resolving discrepancies, and delivering excellent service to customers and partners across the logistics chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry in alignment with information from customers, carriers, and Container Freight Stations (CFS).
- Manage shipment-related documentation, ensuring prompt issuance and delivery as per SOPs/customer requirements.
- Collect all necessary original documents from vendors/carriers before releasing FCR/BL.
- Coordinate with Customer Service teams to support billing, documentation, and inquiries.
- Review and verify shipment data provided by CFS against customer-uploaded data, ensuring accuracy.
- Address documentation issues, complaints, and discrepancies effectively.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and international logistics standards.
- Support colleagues in resolving documentation-related challenges.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a reputable university.
- Experience: 1 year in logistics or supply chain management (preferred).
- Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work proactively and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
