Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and comprehensive maintenance of all hospital facilities and critical infrastructure.
- Develop, implement, and manage robust preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal facility performance and longevity.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance staff, and effectively coordinate with external contractors and vendors.
- Ensure stringent compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards within the facility.
- Plan, forecast, and manage operational budgets for facilities maintenance and capital improvement projects.
- Provide immediate and effective response to facility emergencies, system failures, and critical operational issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in facilities management, with a strong preference for experience in a hospital or large institutional healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of building systems, regulatory compliance, and best practices in facility maintenance.
- Proven leadership capabilities with effective team management and supervisory skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and clear, concise communication skills.
- Ability to thrive and maintain high standards in a demanding, fast-paced healthcare environment.
