Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair fiber optic cables and related equipment.
- Perform splicing, termination, and testing of fiber optic lines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve fiber network issues and outages.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during field operations.
- Provide technical support and customer service for fiber connectivity.
- Document network changes and maintenance activities accurately.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fiber Technician or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of fiber optic technologies, splicing, and testing procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work outdoors in various conditions.
