Job Overview

Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi is looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. The Financial Accountant will play a key role in maintaining and improving financial processes, analyzing financial data, and assisting the Director of Finance/Assistant Financial Controller in all areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Provide support in feasibility studies, ROI computations, and project reviews.
• Support in legal reviews of contracts/agreements.
• Assist in the preparation of MIS and data inputs into the system.
• Participate in the Capex approval process and reviews.
• Aid in internal audit checks, reviews, and compliance to policies.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate with knowledge of accounting.
• ACCA or similar qualification will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury Hotel Group.
• Must possess hands-on experience in Sun Accounting System and Hyperion system.
