Job Overview

ARCOTEL Hotels, one of Austria’s largest privately-owned hospitality groups, is looking for a Front Office Supervisor to join the team in Stuttgart. As a Front Office Supervisor, you will lead daily operations, ensure smooth guest service at reception, and support the Front Office Manager in all administrative and leadership tasks.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Supervise and coordinate shift operations for front office staff.
  • Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes.
  • Handle billing, cancellations, guest feedback, and other administrative tasks.
  • Manage individual and group reservations with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support and stand in for the Front Office Manager and Assistant Manager as needed.
  • Upsell room categories, cross-sell F&B offers, and manage walk-ins.
  • Train, mentor, and guide front office team members and apprentices.

Requirements

To succeed as a Front Office Supervisor, you should bring:

  • Completed training in hospitality or gastronomy.
  • At least two years’ Front Office experience in the hotel industry.
  • Excellent German and English communication skills; other languages are a plus.
  • Strong service orientation and guest-focused mindset.
  • Knowledge of Protel PMS is advantageous.
  • Positive attitude, proactive working style, and discretion in guest interactions.
