Job Overview
EY, one of the world’s leading professional services firms, is seeking a Global Immigration Consultant to join its Global Delivery Services (GDS) team in Budapest, Hungary. In this role, you’ll support global clients with immigration compliance, visa case preparation, and workforce mobility solutions, enabling organizations to manage the challenges of a globally mobile workforce.

Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and review immigration case documents and applications.
- Support case intake, strategy development, and troubleshooting with senior consultants.
- Manage case documentation, data entry, and reporting within case management tools.
- Track immigration cases, monitor status updates, and ensure timely next steps.
- Assist in document validation and review for different visa types.
- Stay updated on immigration regulations and support implementation of changes.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects, research, and data collection activities.
- Adhere to EY’s risk management protocols and confidentiality standards.
- Support team productivity by mentoring and helping onboard new colleagues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Law, English, or related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in immigration, HR, or global mobility.
- Strong written and spoken English fluency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in large, multicultural teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
- Master’s degree or MBA.
- Experience in compliance, immigration, or legal support.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Adaptability in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
