Key Responsibilities
- Perform HDPE pipe welding using various techniques such as butt fusion, electrofusion, and socket fusion.
- Interpret blueprints, welding specifications, and technical documents to determine proper welding procedures.
- Ensure all welding work complies with industry safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Inspect welded joints for quality, integrity, and adherence to specifications, making necessary adjustments.
- Maintain and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently, performing minor repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate effectively with the project team to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HDPE Pipe Welder, preferably in industrial, civil construction, or oil and natural gas sectors.
- Proficiency in various HDPE welding techniques and the operation of associated equipment.
- Ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding specifications.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality assurance procedures in welding operations.
- Excellent physical stamina, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
- Valid welding certifications for HDPE materials are highly advantageous.
