Key Responsibilities

• Overall supervision of the accounting team for implementation of proper accounting policies and internal control procedures.
• Leads the ERP migration of the company.
• Maintains the online banking and checks all banking transactions.
• Checks all accounting transactions and payments before approval.
• Responsible for financial reporting required by external users.
• Performs month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and closing entries.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy graduate and must be a CPA.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in general accounting in a supervisory position.
• Past working experience must be in a product trading and products distribution business.
• In-depth understanding of the entire MS Office suite and accounting process.
• Knowledge of VAT guidelines in UAE and extensive corporate and personal tax experience.
• Expertise in finalization of financial statements.
