    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee all aspects of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the joint venture.
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring adherence to IFRS and local standards.
    • Develop and implement robust internal controls and accounting policies.
    • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
    • Provide strategic financial insights to support management decision-making in the energy sector.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (ACCA, CPA) preferred.
    • Proven experience as a Head Accountant or in a similar senior accounting role, preferably within the energy or engineering sector.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, local tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a joint venture environment.
