Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the joint venture.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring adherence to IFRS and local standards.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and accounting policies.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support management decision-making in the energy sector.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (ACCA, CPA) preferred.
- Proven experience as a Head Accountant or in a similar senior accounting role, preferably within the energy or engineering sector.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, local tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a joint venture environment.
