    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee and enforce health and safety policies and procedures on-site.
    • Conduct site inspections and audits to identify potential risks or non-compliance.
    • Ensure compliance with local and international health and safety regulations.
    • Develop and deliver toolbox talks and HSE training to site teams.
    • Support incident investigations and root cause analysis as needed.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety performance.
    • Liaise with contractors and subcontractors to ensure safety protocols are followed.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a Health and Safety role, with specific experience in building construction projects.
    • Strong understanding of construction safety standards and regulations.
    • NEBOSH certification (or equivalent) is preferred.
    • Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills.
    • Ability to work independently and respond quickly in a dynamic construction environment.
    • Experience working on commercial or large-scale building projects.
    • Familiarity with ISO 45001 standards and knowledge of local regulatory frameworks.
