Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor safety policies and procedures on construction sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) regulations.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive HSE reports to management and relevant regulatory bodies.
- Provide essential safety training and inductions to new and existing employees.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture among all site personnel and contractors.
Requirements
- Relevant certification in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Health Safety Environment role, preferably within the construction or civil engineering sector.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore’s WSH Act, Environmental Protection and Management Act, and other related regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and safety analyses.
- Proactive, meticulous, and possessing strong problem-solving abilities.
