Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures in line with local regulations and company standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
  • Organize and deliver HSE training programs for all hotel staff to promote a safety-conscious culture.
  • Manage waste disposal, energy conservation, and environmental impact reduction initiatives.
  • Ensure emergency preparedness plans are in place and regularly tested, including fire safety and evacuation procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HSE Officer, preferably within the hospitality industry or a similar large-scale operation.
  • In-depth knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and incident investigation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train staff and liaise with management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced luxury environment.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.
