Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
• Conduct surveillance for healthcare-associated infections and analyze data to identify trends.
• Provide education and training to staff on infection control practices and guidelines.
• Investigate outbreaks of infectious diseases and recommend control measures.
• Collaborate with clinical departments to ensure compliance with national and international infection control standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to infection prevention.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Infection Preventionist Nurse, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of infection control principles, epidemiology, and relevant regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills for data interpretation and trend identification.
• Ability to educate and influence healthcare professionals at all levels.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using relevant software for data analysis and reporting.
