INSPECTOR – SAFETY

Job Overview

DP World is seeking a Safety Inspector to manage day-to-day OH&S aspects of projects, ensuring policies and procedures are implemented and complied with. The role involves conducting safety inspections, implementing permit to work systems, and driving safety awareness campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH certification or equivalent, with experience in ship/rig repair or offshore construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day OH&S aspects of projects.
• Conduct safety inspections as planned, timely, and accurately.
• Implement the Permit to Work system effectively.
• Drive safety awareness campaigns and promote positive safety behavior.
• Participate in accident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Implement and monitor OHS and Environment System.

Requirements

• NEBOSH – International General Certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years working experience as Safety Inspector or similar.
• Experience in Ship / Rig repair / Conversion OR New building/Offshore Construction.
• Good knowledge of Safety Management and relevant tools.
• Knowledge of OHS Management System and OHSAS 18001.
