Job Overview

DCT Abu Dhabi seeks a full-time, on-site Internal Communications Senior Specialist to execute data-driven strategies that unify culture, elevate employee engagement, and deliver timely, consistent messages across a diverse workforce. You’ll run the internal comms calendar, craft bilingual (Arabic/English) content, modernize channels and tooling, and partner across functions to support change programs, leadership visibility, and organization-wide initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support creation and execution of an internal communications strategy aligned to culture, values, and priorities.
  • Own a centralized comms calendar; deliver targeted plans for key milestones, events, and announcements.
  • Draft, edit, and quality-assure bilingual content (EN/AR) for newsletters, intranet, newsflashes, and leadership messages.
  • Translate complex topics into clear messages; leverage multimedia and digital tools for higher engagement.
  • Coordinate and publish regular DCT-wide newsletters, interviews, and campaigns; support change management.
  • Measure channel performance and campaign impact; apply insights to improve reach and engagement.
  • Explore and implement new platforms (intranet/collab tools/internal social); ensure inclusivity and accessibility.
  • Prepare materials for internal events and awareness initiatives; advise stakeholders on best-practice internal comms.
  • Comply with policies and OSH requirements; contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Communications/Journalism/PR (Master’s preferred); professional certifications a plus.
  • 3–5 years in internal communications or similar roles.
  • Exceptional Arabic and English writing/editing; strong storytelling and stakeholder management.
  • Proficient with MS Office; bonus: Canva/Adobe Creative Suite or video editing experience.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, proactive; able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
