In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing software procurement processes, ensuring the digital supply chain is safeguarded, and contributing to vendor risk assessment and compliance with relevant frameworks. You will play a crucial role in supporting CIOs and IT leaders in their software and AI adoption strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with IT software and service vendors.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for software licenses and subscriptions.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams including IT, legal, and finance to define software needs.
• Ensure strict compliance with company procurement policies and relevant regulations like NIS2, DORA, and the AI Act.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and strategies to optimize software spending.
• Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key vendors and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Buyer or in a similar procurement role, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong negotiation skills and demonstrated expertise in vendor management.
• Solid understanding of software licensing models and IT contracting best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English is required; German language skills are a significant advantage.
