Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures.
- Monitor network performance and security systems for potential threats.
- Manage firewalls, VPNs, and other network security appliances.
- Troubleshoot network and security issues, ensuring high availability.
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT teams on project deployment and system upgrades.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Network and Security Engineer, preferably 5+ years.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP) and security principles.
- Experience with firewall management (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Fluency in French and/or German, with English being an asset.
- Ability to work effectively in a public institution environment.
