Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures.
  • Monitor network performance and security systems for potential threats.
  • Manage firewalls, VPNs, and other network security appliances.
  • Troubleshoot network and security issues, ensuring high availability.
  • Implement and enforce IT security policies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT teams on project deployment and system upgrades.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Network and Security Engineer, preferably 5+ years.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP) and security principles.
  • Experience with firewall management (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Fluency in French and/or German, with English being an asset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a public institution environment.
