Junior Accountant – Payables

ALFAHIM is seeking a Junior Accountant – Payables to oversee payroll processing, reconcile payable accounts, manage cash, and prepare reports. This is a full-time, entry-level position based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Commerce or equivalent.
• Experience: 5 Year+

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely salary disbursement.
• Reconcile payable accounts for local and foreign suppliers.
• Review bank reconciliations and inter-group reconciliation statements.
• Periodically review and report petty cash utilization.
• Prepare and provide periodic reports to the treasury department.
• Support the line manager in coaching and training new team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Commerce or equivalent.
• 5 – 6 years of minimum experience in Payable/Payroll accounting within a diversified group of companies.
• Experience in the Automotive industry is preferred.
• ERP Oracle R12 proficient user.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to take analytical action and deliver results.
