Junior AI Engineer

Job Overview

KRNL Labs, a pioneer in Trustworthy AI and Web3 integration, is seeking a Junior AI Engineer to join its Bangkok-based team. This role will give you the opportunity to work at the intersection of AI, blockchain, and compliance, helping to build cryptographically verifiable AI systems. Job Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI-assisted tools and automations.
• Explore and implement LLM fine-tuning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and evaluation frameworks.
• Integrate AI solutions into production workflows.
• Support applied research on AI governance, watermarking, and provenance tracking.
• Write and maintain clear technical documentation.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in Python (experience with PyTorch, Hugging Face, or LangChain is a plus).
• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts (training, evaluation, embeddings).
• Interest in blockchain/Web3 technologies (EVM, smart contracts, cryptography).
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn by building and shipping tools.
• Good English communication skills (writing and presenting technical findings).

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with multi-agent frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, MCP).
• Exposure to compliance/governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF).
• Prior open-source contributions.
