Job Overview
Raffles Hotels & Resorts (part of Accor Group) is seeking a Kitchen Receiving Clerk in Doha. This role ensures all food and kitchen supplies are received, inspected, and stored properly in line with HACCP standards and hotel procurement policies. The Receiving Clerk supports kitchen operations by maintaining accurate inventory, preventing waste, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect all kitchen-related deliveries for quality, accuracy, and safety.
- Verify goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to suppliers and procurement.
- Ensure HACCP compliance and safe food storage practices.
- Support kitchen operations through accurate inventory management.
- Maintain FIFO (first in, first out) system to reduce waste and ensure freshness.
- Coordinate with procurement and kitchen teams for supply needs.
- Assist in stock counts, audits, and reporting.
- Contribute to cost control by following budget guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the receiving area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen receiving, storekeeping, or inventory role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and procurement processes.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Physically able to lift and move kitchen supplies.
- Basic computer skills for inventory and reporting tasks.
