Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the resort’s extensive tropical gardens and outdoor areas.
- Develop and implement sustainable landscaping practices in line with EarthCheck certification standards.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of gardeners and landscaping staff.
- Ensure the aesthetic appeal and health of all plant life and natural features across the resort.
- Collaborate with resort management to enhance the overall guest experience through outdoor design.
- Oversee irrigation systems, plant nutrition, and integrated pest management measures.
Requirements
- Proven extensive experience in landscape management, preferably within a luxury resort environment.
- Strong knowledge of tropical horticulture, plant care, and sustainable landscaping practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with attention to detail.
- Commitment to environmental sustainability and maintaining high aesthetic standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic outdoor environment and adapt to changing conditions.
