    GCG Engineering Services is seeking a Lead Instrumentation & Control Engineer for an Offshore Project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves leading and managing all Instrumentation & Control (I&C) engineering activities for the IA/PA Upgrade Project, ensuring compliance with ADNOC Offshore standards, and seamless integration of new compressor-package control systems with existing DCS/ESD/F&G/PMS/ECMS.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Review FEED and EPC deliverables (P&IDs, C&E matrices, instrument index, loop diagrams, hook-ups).
    • Finalize instrument sizing, specifications, and installation details as per ADNOC standards.
    • Develop and validate control narratives and logic for IA/PA compressor operation and inter-platform coordination.
    • Integrate compressor UCP panels with existing ADNOC systems, including ABB DCS (800xA) and Rockwell ESD.
    • Lead discipline reviews and approve I&C deliverables, providing technical guidance on ADNOC standards.
    • Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and PHSER workshops, implementing process safety instrumented functions.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation / Control / Electrical Engineering.
    • 15 years of EPC Oil & Gas I&C experience, with a minimum of 5 years in ADNOC Offshore brownfield projects.
    • Strong background in compressor package control and automation integration.
    • Experience with vendor/OEM coordination and FAT/SAT activities.
    • Knowledge of ADNOC Offshore standards and brownfield SIMOPS and PTW protocols.
